Volunteers
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Earth Law Center. ELC volunteers make a wide variety of contributions to our organization. We have received invaluable help from pro bono lawyers, law professors, and policy experts in areas such as legal research and writing, and serving as guest teachers or speakers. Hundreds of other volunteers have supported events, fundraising and operations, and much more.
As a first step, please fill out this volunteer interest survey:
When you fill this out, it will add your information to a database we use to match your interests with projects and opportunities. Please realize our bandwidth to manage volunteers is limited. We monitor the survey responses and will get back in touch should we see an opportunity.
Many of our volunteers work remotely. However, if you are interested to volunteer in-person please note that in the “additional info” field at the bottom of the survey. In-person volunteering opportunities may include:
At our headquarters office in Durango, Colorado (USA)
At our UK office in London, England
At events in Washington State (especially around Port Angeles)
At events in and around New York City
