With more than 20 years of international legal experience, Gayle serves as International Legal Counsel for Earth Law Center and a member of its Ocean Program Team. Her work advances Rights of Nature, Earth-centered governance, biodiversity protection, and Ocean advocacy through engagement with the United Nations and international institutions. She helped lead adoption of a 2025 International Union for Conservation of Nature Resolution promoting Rights of Nature and ecocentric law and co-authored the International Law and Ocean Governance chapters in Earth Law: Emerging Ecocentric Law (2025). Previously, Gayle served at Intel Corporation, advising across 60+ countries on global policy, compliance, ethics, and employment law.
