World Environment Day 2016

  • Patagonia 770 North Point Street San Francisco, CA, 94109 United States (map)

This Sunday we celebrate World Environment Day, which is focusing this year on biodiversity with a theme of “Go Wild for Life”; see: http://www.wed2016.com/content/what-is-wed. Human activity has accelerated species extinction to 1,000 times the natural rate. Over 30 mammal species are threatened or endangered in California alone, including the humpback whale and southern sea otter; see: http://bit.ly/1TSUM7T.

ELC will be at Patagonia in San Francisco on Sunday from 12-2 to share information on our own work in the San Francisco Bay-Delta area. Please stop by and learn how you can help protect all species’ rights to exist, thrive and evolve.
