Earth Law Center works with partners worldwide to advance a rights-based movement for the environment. The map below depicts some of the partners and success stories in this movement.
Partners include sustainable food and living organizations, community groups, environmental non-profits, law schools and other university programs, human rights groups, rights of nature associations, sustainable economics nonprofits, and indigenous rights groups.
Success stories include constitutional provisions, treaties with First Nations, and local ordinances protecting the rights of human residents and ecosystems to be healthy, thrive, and evolve. Successes also include an evolving body of case law actively protecting such rights and providing improved standing for the environment in court.
